AOW-Conference 2017 in Dresden - a pictured review
During the three days of the conference we hosted 588 German and international scientists from the fields of Work-, Organizational-, Personnel-, Business- and Engineering Psychology. In addition to 255 interesting research presentations, 39 symposia composed of 217 presentations and 62 posters displaying a wide variety of state-of the-art research four high-profile international keynote-speakers inspired the audience: Prof. Mo Wang (University of Florida), Prof. Erich Kirchler (University of Vienna), Prof. Alexander S. Haslam (University of Queensland) and Prof. Neville A. Stanton (University of Southampton). Additionally, a special format for young researchers received much praise. ‘Pitch-Sessions’ provided the opportunity for (doctoral) students to present their findings in 7 minutes. The non-scientific program was also very much appreciated.
Finally, we would like to thank all student helpers and all the other people involved for their great support. Without their clever and generous commitment this conference – that according to our minds was highly successful – would not have been possible!
